  • Private teaching one-on-one and small groups, English and French as a second language

  • Newcomer Empowerment Program: lead instructor and curriculum developer for a course preparing newcomer women for the PEI workforce

  • Differentiated Instruction and Assessment: the ongoing use of assessment to gather information about where students are in their learning and about their readiness, interests and learning preferences in order to vary a student's learning environment, instruction, and assessment and evaluation.

  • Blended or Hybrid Learning  - using a mixture of classroom in-person techniques, along with online technologies

In addition, to Nancy's vast experience, she also has background support from her husband Windsor, who also has over 30 years in education as both a teacher and a principal.

Together, they bring 60+ years in the field and are able to support language and literacy learning for all students who come through their doors!
